See Your Elephant
Discover what’s holding you back from your true potential
About the Book
Have you ever heard the saying, “The elephant in the room”? In my career as a high-performance coach and physiotherapist, I’ve discovered that we all have unaddressed “elephants” These are the blind spots or obstacles we prefer to ignore, especially under pressure. I call it an elephant, but you might know it as your ‘BS’—it stands between you and your peak performance, your true potential.
In this book, I invite you on a transformative journey. You’ll explore the concept of your personal ‘elephant’ or blind spot, encouraging you to embrace curiosity and vulnerability. To conquer your own elephant, you must become an “elephant hunter” This means acknowledging your vulnerabilities and tackling whatever is holding you back from achieving your full potential. By identifying your ‘elephant’—that thing that hinders your progress—you’ll develop self- awareness, build self-belief, and unlock new levels of achievement. Each section of the book represents a different stage of your journey as you identify and confront the obstacles in your way.
I provide a clear, accessible framework and strategy to help you analyze how you currently perform in high-stakes situations, identify your obstacles, and move towards your best performance. By the end of the book, you’ll have clarity on what’s holding you back and be equipped with my 4 Pillars of Performance, empowering you to take control and achieve excellence in sport, business, or life in general.
Let this book be your guide to embracing vulnerability, conquering obstacles, and reaching your fullest potential. Together, we’ll face your ‘elephant’ and inspire greatness within you.
